Frequently Asked Questions

What qualifications do I need to teach?
We look for experienced musicians with a passion for teaching. Formal education is a plus, but not required. What matters most is your ability to connect with students and inspire them to grow.
How much do instructors earn?
Pay is competitive and based on experience and qualifications. We offer hourly rates for lessons and performance opportunities. Contact us for specific details.
What's the time commitment?
Completely flexible. Some instructors teach full-time, others just a few hours a week. You set your availability and we work around your schedule.
Can I perform at events if I'm not an instructor?
Absolutely! We welcome local musicians to perform at our open mics, showcases, and special events. Submit an inquiry and we'll find the right fit for you.
Do I need to live in Truckee to teach?
Most of our programs are in-person in Truckee, but we occasionally offer virtual lessons. Being local is preferred but not always required.
Can I teach or collaborate virtually?
Yes! While most of our programs are in-person in Truckee, we do offer virtual lesson options for select instruments and age groups. Virtual collaboration for songwriting, workshops, and mentorship is also possible. Contact us to discuss what works for your situation.
