As the former General Manager of the Truckee Donner Recreation and Parks District and now a board member for the Tahoe Truckee School of Music, I have witnessed firsthand the profound impact that TTSM has had on our community.

My passion for live music and community engagement drives me to attend as many music events as possible. Thousands of people every year get to experience music through the free live events that TTSM provides.

Additionally, the music lessons that the school provides transform so many lives for our community members.

I joined the board because I firmly believe that music is a vital component of a thriving community. Access to diverse forms of recreation, including music, is essential for the development of children of all ages. Although I do not have a musical background myself, I have a deep appreciation for and enjoyment of the art form and all it has to offer, and I am proud of the work that TTSM does.

I am dedicated to ensuring that our programs continue to enrich the lives of our community members and provide invaluable opportunities for our youth to explore and enjoy music.
